About the culture, recent achievements, and future of URMIA, from URMIA’s current president, Chauncey Fagler and URMIA’s president elect Courtney Davis Curtis. They will discuss the importance of affiliate relationships and how to get more value from your URMIA membership.
You’ll also hear from affiliates committee chair Chris Duble on recent activities of the affiliates committee and how URMIA treats affiliate members a little differently than other professional organizations do. We view affiliate members as important partners with whom we share ideas, problems, and solutions. We welcome the involvement of individuals from a wide variety of industries so that we can work cooperatively to elevate the role of risk management in higher education.
The national office will share our latest work with sister associations and provide a summary about the education plan and ways you can use it.
We welcome your questions, suggestions, and involvement! Most of this session will be networking to widen your network of affiliate contacts, be sure to bring your business cards.
